Supernatural: The unholy Cause by Joe Schreiber

27 years ago Sam and Dean Winchester lost their mom to a mysterious , demonic supernatural force. In the years that follow their father  John Winchester  taught his boys about the supernatural evil that surrounds us. They travel the back roads of America, hunting and killing it! Note: This book is set BEFORE the apocalypse!

In 1862 confederate Captain Jubal Beauchamp leads a charge on a Georgia battlefield. Suddenly he kills some of his own men, then himself. What drove him to it? Fast forward to present day. A Civil War reenactment on that same field becomes all to real when some re-enactors end up dead.  We find out that the past is not really dead. Sam begins having nightmares, knows a language he had never spoken or seen before. As well as other things (Don’t want to give away to much away. One thing I can say was I was unable to but this book down!)

Could what be causing  the nightmares ect be responsible for what is happening on the Georgia battle field?  This book is a must have for fans of this amazing series. You can check out TITAN BOOKS for more info on the novels. Check out TITAN MAGAZINE for info on the Magazine. Which I just found out about by reading The Unholy Cause (May think about dropping the Horse Magazines for this.)  This has been added to my wishlist. I wish I would of known about it sooner.

Note: The Books/Companions are a bit cheaper on Amazon (In case anyone wanted to know.  Also on the site there is a section where you can enter to win a signed copy of issue #1 of the magazine but if you are a resident of the State of FLORIDA as I am you are unable to enter 😦

Supernatural 5th Companion

Supernatural: The Five Year Mission

I really enjoy this show and if you are a fan these books are a must have! Eric Kripke did what he set out to do. There are all kinds of behind the scenes information. There are pictures and quotes  from the series threw out the book.  Each episode has a small summery. There is a section of color photos as well. This is the season where we are introduced to the four horsemen of the apocalypse! In “Good God Y’all” we find out that war arrived in a  Cherry red 1966 or 1967 Mustang. When Sam and Dean were taking War’s ring they actually wanted to cut it off on the car but the guys who own it said no way! I wouldn’t blame them. It is a fantastic looking car. We also find out that the necklace that Dean wears That Cass uses in his search for God) is made of solid brass and Jensen Ackles says it is quite heavy. Supernatural Is Jim Beavers Longest running series. In the Episode “The End” Where Dean is taken five years into the future by Zachariah to see what it would be like if Dean says no to Michael. Deans future self is played by Jensen’s stunt double Todd Scott.

Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester

Turns out Robert Singer  help produce the 1983 film Cujo. In “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester there is a side note that Jared Padalecki really plays Poker. “Changing Channels is a parody of CSI Miami and Gray’s Anatomy because they are competition for the time slot. In “The Song that Remains the Same” you find out that hunting is in the Winchester blood.

There are pages that give  more information about the creatures that are involved on Supernatural. In “My Bloody Valentine” the Flesh is made of Turkey bread and raspberry jam. In “The Devil You Know Mark Sheppard about hitting a stuntman over the head with a weighted rubber crowbar. Mr Sheppard was born in the year of the dragon and has dragon tattoos. I love the Hell-hounds on this series even though you can’t see them. The creator Eric Kripke said that things are more scary when you can see them. I remember one of the first time I saw the actions of a hell-hound I jumped and was like what the hell? Poor Dean was getting mauled by one. They tell you how the hell-hounds are created. Jim Beaver said that the best line of the series was when he said, “Get the hell off my property before I blast you so full of rock salt you crap margaritas.

Dean Winchester Suited Up!

Supernatural sounds like a great set to be on. I will continue to watch this fantastic series. I would just like to say what a great job all those of you that are involved in the series are doing. Keep up the great work. As well as the publishers and Nicholas Knight the author of these books and I can’t wait for the companion for season six and beyond!
Also found out that there is going to be an anime!
